D&D Character Sheets - Google Docs

Spencer has been playing Dungeons and Dragons for almost three years now, and for about two years, they've been using their own character sheet template they created (initially in 2020, has been adapted over time). Based on the structure of DND Beyond, Spencer created a Google Doc for users to easily navigate and find items like Skills, Class Abilities, and an Action set table. The following is the sheet for a character that has existed for about three years, Carys Conway-Kynyr.

Personal Conflict - Adobe Photoshop

A rather goofy project compared to everything else on this list, this piece from October 2022 depicts Spencer's character, Carina, in a bit of a silent treatment scenario with her best friend (and love interest), Juan. In creating this piece, Spencer decided to use the characters' favorite colors as the lineart, which created an interesting contrast in Carina's hair and Juan's clothing as opposed to the similar-hue lineart technique Spencer has done in the past.

Carys Conway-Kynyr - Adobe Photoshop

A rather classic piece to come from Spencer's hands, this portrait made in January 2022 depicts their longest-existing character having freshly cut her hair, just a while before the second arc of the D&D campaign would begin. With this art, Spencer focused a lot on how the lineart interacts with the filling color, making sure that the colored lines fit with the body part it borders around, as well as meshing with the other colored lines nicely.

D&D Character Sheets - Notion

After an unfortunate accident with a tea can breaking in a bag with a Microsoft Surface Pro, Spencer has had to access their character sheet with their phone during in-person sessions. Google Docs does not have the best mobile-oriented format, so they took to transferring their character sheet to Notion. With that, everything is still all in one place and easy to navigate as of early January 2023, but instead of scrolling through an entire document, Spencer is now free to reference their Druid/Cleric character's extremely broken abilities by opening specific pages to access what they may need.

College Staircase - Adobe Photoshop

During Spencer's final semester at college, they took some photography classes (both as a required credit for their major and minor, but also to enhance their own skills on the subject before graduation). This particular picture was taken on top of a stairwell in the Edith O'Donnell Arts and Technology building with an iPhone 14, taken into Photoshop to turn it black and white, and further enhance the image to make the center of the "spiral" even darker than it already was to provide some more contrast with the stairs around it.

Polygonal Dog - Adobe Photoshop

Done as part of a final project in Spencer's first semester of college, this piece was a "polygonalization" of their family dog, Mowgli. It took a lot of time and patience, but overall, it came out looking rather stunning.
